Brazil is a major pulp, paper and board producer. It ranks amongst the world’s largest pulp exporters.
The country’s pulp and paper/board industry is operating at near capacity levels - around 7.5Mt pulp and 7Mt paper and board. Current expansions are expected to take capacities to around 10Mt.
Major producers include Aracruz Celulose, Norske Skog South America and Celulose Nipo Brasileira (Cenibra).
