The Mauritian printing houses have made significant investments in the latest technology to achieve higher output and quality prints. The industry has advanced equipment such as high-ended colour scanners, large format image setters, sheeted and web-fed colour offset presses and a wide variety of automatic binding and finishing machines.
There is a wide scope for investments in the printing sector and products which have shown good export potential are: Educational textbooks, corporate reports,
case bound and board books, colour illustrated books, mass market children's books, 3-D and pop-up books and weekly magazines.
