In order to address the concern of global warming, Ballard Power Systems, a Canadian fuel cell research specialist, have produced hydrogen-powered fuel cells which omits pollution and is more environmentally-friendly. At present, there is a move to replace the internal combustion engines of motor vehicles with hydrogen-powered fuel cells.
